World Book Day

Our learning will all be based around a short book, from which we will write our own version of the story, setting descriptions and produce art inspired by the events in the book. In addition, we have a number of high-profile authors and illustrators coming in to talk to the children. On Thursday, it is World Book Day itself. As per the details in the last whole school newsletter, the children are invited to come in dressed up as a character from a book. The newsletter also provided a sponsorship form for a 'readathon' - if you are willing and able to participate! It should be fun!
