Number Day!

RAPS are joining in the celebration of Number Day this coming Monday (4th February), which celebrates maths and raises money for the NSPCC...

Hopefully your child brought home the letter last week with the details, or you have seen the school newsletter, but if not here are the key details. Firstly, children will be taking part in a range of maths activities and games throughout the day - even their topic lesson will link to maths! In addition, the children can come into school wearing something maths related for a £1 donation. The outfit could simply be spotty (2D shapes - circles), checked (2D shapes - squares) or stripy (vertical / horizontal / parallel lines) - or more creative if you like! Finally there will be a cake sale in the hall at break. All donations from outfits and money raised from the cake sale will be donated to the NSPCC.
