Story-telling from Sandra Aagard
What better way to end our Literacy Festival week than with a super story-teller?
RAPS were extremely pleased to welcome back Sandra after she appeared at last year's Literacy festival. Again, she wowed the children and engaged them with her wonderful stories. We heard a tale about a naughty dog - a lovely story with a strong message that the children really understood. Also, we now know why it is that the tortoise's shell looks the way it does, and why tortoises no longer fly!!! I think it speaks volumes for Sandra's story-telling ability that the children who were her last year could retell her previous stories, even after 12 months!
