Year 6 make a display for Literacy Festival 2019
During our literacy week, year 6 studied the picture book, "The Island" by Armin Greder. The powerful book explores the way humanity treats others, especially unfamiliar faces. The book sparked a lot of discussion and the children also produced some amazing writing around its themes.
Next time you're in the school, check out year 6's display in the far end of the corridor! It features some excellent pieces of writing, drawings and supporting artwork.
