Journey: POW at Dreamland

A stunning performance! Thank you Libby and Lizzie!

What a fantastic treat we had this afternoon in the ballroom at Dreamland! This is the second time Team Amin have performed their POW choreography although, of course, this afternoon was the whole production with the machines, 'Echo Chamber' and the 'Struggle'! Still, it was just as amazing, inspiring and emotional as it was on Friday night and having been in rehearsals with our class and Libby and Lizzie across the past six weeks, I can honestly say that the children's sense of performance and understanding of the links between STEM and POW have gone from strength to strength. I am so proud of their achievements so far and I am sure you will agree that they have really done themselves proud! Thank you Libby and Lizzie for your hard work and for enabling Team Amin and RAPS to be a part of such a wonderful celebration. I attach only a few photos to this blog as I know many of you will have your own and shall be showing the children their performances through the many videos that Mrs Fox and I have both taken but please do send on any photos/videos you have to me - we would love to see yours as well! A huge thank you to every single parent, carer and guardian who attended either of the recent performances and who ensured their child had everything they needed on the day!

Just one final plea - the children are going to perform their Freedom section to all of RAPS on Thursday so if they can have their T-shirts, that would be fabulous!
