Stone age clay fun!

Children in Team Amin and Team Mann enjoyed creating art works this week inspired by their learning of the Stone Age. On monday Team Amin enjoyed a workshop with Gillion Lyons, a local teacher and ceramicists who introduced the children to terracotta clay. They had the chance to produce their own cave art inspired piece using natural materials and objects to create symbols in the clay. The children also experienced using the techniques of slip and glazes within their work. 

Gillian will be back next week, and we cannot wait to finish the children creations.
