Number Day

For number day, lots of the children dressed up in clothes including numbers or maths sums. In Team Dannell, we read a book called '365 Penguins' which is about a family who receive one penguin a day in the post for a whole year! We then worked out how much it would cost to feed them, different ways of organising them and on which days we would have a prime number of penguins amongst many other problems. At breaktime there was a cake sale to raise money for the NSPCC and in the afternoon we plotted some tricky coordinates on a graph to create some pretty intricate pictures.
